How we made waiting for a check up a thing of the past

THE CHALLENGE

The innovation division at Noisy Carrot noticed an annoying gap in the medical industry – the long wait for your doctor’s appointment. Patients held on to a token and waited patiently for their turn, usually bored or frustrated by the wait. How can we take medical services to a whole new level where even the time of a patient is taken care of?.

THE IDEA

We created an interesting app for our client Malankara Medical College called the ‘APPointment’ – which let you know when your appointment is up while you go about doing your work – to eliminate the waiting period at the hospital. Starting from the 1st hour to the last 5 minutes of your appointment time, the app gives you constant reminders, so you know exactly how long it is for your meeting with the doctor. A series of campaigns drove home the point, showing people in various settings while being reminded of their doctor’s appointment.

THE RESULTS

The ‘APPointment’ was well-appreciated by the client and is being developed by Noisy Carrot to add an extra dimension of convenience to medical care.
